What is INSIGHT?

Insight is one of the best things I’ve ever created, and I’m incredibly excited to tell you all about what it is, why it exists, and what it does for people.

INSIGHT is an idea that sprang out of necessity. I’d been doing private coaching full-time for over 5 years and while the work was steady and rewarding, a small percentage of my discovery calls with potential clients ended with the person being fully ready to work with me emotionally and psychologically speaking, but the investment just wasn’t doable for them at that time.

Now, I’m not one of those coaches that tries to convince people that their money objections are just a lack of commitment, or tells them to take out credit cards to cover my fees. I grew up poor, and while the way we manage our resources is affected by our programming and does benefit from coaching, that doesn’t mean that we can pretend not having enough money isn’t a real-life problem(!)

In my head, I really, really wanted to find a way to get coaching to the people who couldn’t afford it, but I was already doing a ton of free work and couldn’t sustain any more. Then one day, someone said to me:

“If you ever decide to do pod coaching, or something where we can split the cost with others, please msg me – I would be so in.”

And that’s where the idea to essentially ‘crowdfund’ access to coaching was born.

In 2023, I asked myself a powerful question:

Why I Created INSIGHT

What makes me compassionately angry?

The answer was not poetic…

‘People going apeshit at each other..! Because most relational and societal issues are caused by a lack of quality connection and support, and an inability to regulate through hard conversations and big triggers actively destroys the opportunity for connection. It forces people to spend more time protecting from people, than bonding with them.’

What do people actually need?

The answers became the foundation of a free 5.5-hour masterclass I created, called Emotional Flexibility. In that class, I taught people how to:

This was the beginning of something much bigger—INSIGHT was born from this mission.

But by the end of those 5.5 hours together, the energy in the class was so amped and everyone was so in it, that I felt compelled to say:

“Hey PS… If you wanna keep talking about this, if you wanna go deeper into living this way and you’d like help to do it, I’m going to start a group. It’ll just be me, opening my Zoom room twice a month to whoever wants to come and discuss what they’re going through and how they want to make it better, and I’ll provide personalised 1-1 coaching but it’ll be like, a tenth of the price of a private container.”

20 people signed up that week, and INSIGHT was born.

Since then, the program has grown by dozens of people, and the group chat is lit up every week with realisations, celebrations, breakthroughs, camaraderie, and support.

And here’s why it works so well

Firstly, it’s not a prescriptive program with a set curriculum – it’s 1:1 personalised coaching support, just at a reduced price because everyone’s chipping in to make it financially feasible to provide.

In my opinion, 1:1 personalised coaching support is the only real way to get into what’s actually going on for each individual person.

Now, I’m not saying that courses and books and programs aren’t great. I’ve run them myself and changed a lot of lives, but ultimately if a concept isn’t landing for you, or you can’t get moving on a particular dream…

You need someone to actually LISTEN to you, to hear the vocabulary your brain chooses, to see the incongruencies between your words and your body language, to bring an experienced and trained approach to pull the right thread at the right speed for you be able to break through on what’s really been holding you back.

Additionally, INSIGHT allows you to watch other people be coached to a breakthrough — and this is much more powerful and beneficial to your journey than you realise.

The Power of Watching Others Be Coached

When you’re in the coaching hot seat, your brain will have a certain amount of defences up. Remember, our programming is buried in psychological blind-spots for a reason – our nervous system doesn’t want our protective strategies disrupted(!) But when it’s someone else in the hotseat, your defences aren’t up because you’re not the protagonist. This allows a lot of clarity; realisations / insights / breakthroughs to occur to you, uninterrupted, as you’re watching.

And you may be thinking ‘ok that makes sense, but what if their issue isn’t relevant to my life?’

And to answer that, I’m going to tell you a quick story.

Many years ago, I attended a massive personal development conference with over 9000 people from over 200 countries. At one point, the presenter asked a woman ‘what do you want to transform today?’ and she replied ‘I’m in a really bad place. I’m scared my family won’t have enough money this year and I’m afraid that I won’t be able to fix it.’

The coach turned to face the audience and said ‘raise your hand right now if you’re afraid you won’t have enough or be enough this year.’

9000 hands from over 200 countries shot up, instantly.

Human problems… Are human problems. Please do not think that I am dismissing or belittling your struggles when I tell you how common and relatable they are, but this is the truth.

Stressors at work an inability to be helped or respected by our superiors

The incredible people doing their deep work in INSIGHT are bringing the fire every single call. They are honest, they are raw, they are vulnerable, and they are real. They don’t come to the call for a BS peptalk and a paragraph of motivational platitudes, they come to see what the inside of their brain really looks like. They come to have their blind-spots reflected so that they can see the way out, and actually put foot to that path. And they come to support each other through the highs AND the lows. How INSIGHT Has Expanded

Since that fateful day in 2023, INSIGHT has expanded over and over again – not just in size but in resources and coaching support. All INSIGHT members now get free access to masterclasses on the most transformational concepts in the personal development space, and we have TWO full-time coaches, meaning there is an open call every week for any member to get the coaching they need. Call-times are announced months in advance to ensure everyone can plan ahead for them, and recordings are available for 7 days after for anyone who prefers to learn and grow on their own schedule. INSIGHT was moved in 2025 from a Facebook group to an independent community hub, meaning you don’t need to be on social media to join, and everyone can adjust the amount of notifications they receive to ensure they don’t miss out on coaching, trainings, and community involvement.

If you come along to a couple of calls and either get what you need or discover it’s not a good fit – no worries!
Simply cancel at any time.
INSIGHT is a subscription, meaning the payment will automatically come out each month until you stop it.
INSIGHT calls are run at different times to accommodate all time-zones – in the morning in Australia which works for the southern hemisphere, the US and the European winter, and in the mornings in California which better accommodates the northern hemisphere and the European summer.
While Dan and Sarah do have noticeably different coaching styles, both are able to quickly identify the underlying issue(s) and guide you to a productive way forward.
INSIGHT calls are recorded for members to watch if they can’t make the live call ; the recordings expire after 7 days for the comfort and privacy of people who’ve shared vulnerably in the session.
INSIGHT is staffed by 2 veteran coaches – Sarah Reilly and Dan Mason, plus our Operations Manager Sinead on logistics and administration.
